Dear Diogo
I have read your summery of your research project, and I found it interesting especially when you talked about postmodernism position in relation to tourism. I have lately been introduced to this subject, and I wonder if you have some materials or suggestions that can further my understandings.

Good Evening,
I'm very keen in your work, we were together in savonlinna, finland and it was the first time I saw a group of people moving the same direction. After that I think I read all your papers and a lot of other people with related subjects (the cultural creatives and so on)
I'm trying to write my Ph.D. thesis in transmodern tourism, mainly the creation of new methodology based in transmodernism (that is, how can we measure the feelings, how can we be aware we are moving to the centre of the circle society). To start I created something I call mindword research: I created a chart with 3 rows, one row for transmodernism, other for the organization of society and another for tourism. I filled the rows with words related to those subjects like father, water, survival, exchange, body, night, god...
Then I mixed all the words and asked my students as I was saying the words to write in a paper the first word that came out of their minds. To treat this information I don't want to use traditional statistcs, I was thinking more of something like scales of intensity, deepness and meaningfullness. Please don't ask me what that is as I haven't done it.
As what I said above isn't enought for a thesis, I writing a questionaire to be answered in the next "advances in tourism economics" conference for the participants to answer about the changes in society and transmodernism in tourism. Questions like: what is a paradigm, explain sustainable development to a 6 year old child, what future can sustainable development bring to the society?
I'm writing you hoping you can give some ideas or point some directions about my research.
